Our client is looking to hire an additional veterinary surgeon to join their team. You will be based in a practice that is open 8.00-5.00 pm Mondays to Fridays and only Saturday mornings. Vets work a 4 day week with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings. There is OOH's with this role, which we are lead to believe ins the norm in Australia.
The practice is only 20 minutes from the beautiful Gold Coast coast so for those that want to enjoy a beach life, this role is ideal.
As a senior vet, candidates should have a minimum of three years experience, be happy to share their knowledge and experience with the rest of team.
Across the group, our client have expertise in:
- Orthopedics,
- Bovine,
- Equine,
- Avian,
- Reptiles & Pocket Pets,
- indigenous communities,
- Cassowaries,
- Wildlife,
- Small Animals
The practice is mixed animal, to the following rough breakdown. Whilst mixed experience would be our clients preference, small animal only vet are also welcome to apply:
- Canine - 80%
- Feline - 11%
- Bovine - 4.5%
- Equine - 4%
- Other - 0.5%
With regards to equipment, headline equipment levels are:
- Digital X-ray
- Ultrasound
- Laparoscopic kit
- Orthopaedic kit
