Cromwell Vets are a busy 24-hour Primary Care, small animal hospital, RCVS accredited, with 5 branch surgeries and a fabulous physiotherapy/
hydrotherapy centre. Our practice has been caring for pets for over 100 years and we pride ourselves on providing the very best care and service for our pets and their owners. We are fortunate to have our tier 3 hospital with excellent facilities and equipment and it is an exciting time to be joining us as we are now primed and ready for further growth including a move to a new purpose-built hospital.

We enjoy being part of our communities and attending local events to
run fun dog shows raising money each year for our chosen charity and encouraging team members to take part. Cromwell Vets also holds regular social events including summer events, impromptu lunchtime barbeques in the summer and the famous annual Christmas party.

Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a confident, talented, and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, passionate team. 

Your role at Cromwell Vets will be a varied one. You will see a good mixture of consultations and surgeries. You will have the choice of working at our hospital site or branch sites or a mixture of both. Consulting only options are also available if preferred. 

Our rota:

  • 4 days a week (9-hour days),
  • 1 weekend in 6
  • 1 Saturday morning in 6
  • No inpatient checks & no out of hours
  • Open to full-time and part-time applications.

You will be joining a very welcoming team, who all support each other.
All of our Associates are committed to the care of our clients and their
pets and we would love to hear from applicants who share the same values. Many of our clinical team hold certificates in medicine, surgery, cardiology, dermatology and diagnostic imaging, with advanced practitioners in medicine and surgery. We are always keen to support professional development and certificates, where possible.
