The role:

Joining our professional, personable team in our Kenilworth practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listening and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.

In this diverse and dynamic role, you’ll be an RCVS Registered Nurse or final year Student Veterinary Nurse with small animal practice experience, you put high standards of patient care first and can demonstrate how you’ve worked with empathy and demonstrated initiative when needed. You also understand not only your role but also the capabilities of PCAs and student nurses and are eager to help colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a busy team and possess the confidence to work alone when required; you will have a flexible and adaptable approach to work and be happy to get stuck in wherever needed. You will see a wider range of cases whilst working alongside experienced colleagues and certificate holders. This is a great opportunity to thrive in a busy hospital environment! 

The position is working 40 hours per week (SVN 43 hours per week) with 1 in 6 weekends (TOIL for the weekends). 

Salary and Benefits:

  • - RVN Salary £30,000 per annum
  • - CPD allowance of £750 and 2-days CPD leave per annum and in-house CPD available
  • - Ongoing training is provided as relevant to your role

Skills and experience:

  • - You must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS or a student nurse who is in their final year and is soon to qualify

Medivet Kenilworth is a refurbished practice and is equipped with the latest facilities including ophthalmology equipment, tonometry, dental facilities, acupuncture, and much more!

The practice is situated in the heart of Kenilworth, with the town centre offering a variety of shops, restaurants, and coffee shops. The M6 and M40 are both a short drive from the practice.
