Job Description

We are recruiting for a full time veterinary surgeon to join us in a role that doesn’t involves OOH! Due to the experience within our existing team, we can consider applications from recently qualified vets (with a minimum of 6 months UK experience) as well as more experienced vets. This is a great opportunity for any vet looking to gain emergency experience whilst continuing to develop their skills in surgery and medicine.

We offer a high variety of clinical caseload worked up to a gold standard within a purpose-built state of the art hospital setting. In the coming weeks we will be offering MRI and hydrotherapy rehabilitation services in house which is a first for any Vets4Pets hospital!

We are conveniently based at the busy Old Market Retail Park just off the A13 and benefit from free on-site parking, easy access to the M25, 20 minutes from the seaside and direct trains into London and Southend.

You will find us to be a friendly, cheerful and progressive practice and
the team consists of 12 vets, 9 RVNs, 6 SVNs, 4 VCAs, 8 CCAs, 1 practice manager and 1 clients account manager. We have state of the art equip-ment including ultrasound and endoscope and we were the first 1st opinion practice in Essex to get a CT scanner.
