The role:

Joining our professional personable team at our Leamington Spa Upper Grove St practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.

As a qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working in sole charge or as part of the wider team. Sharing our values of being trustworthy, caring, and progressive, you will have all the softer skills essential to working effectively, building trusting relationships with your colleagues, and harnessing our one-team culture. You will also display good communication skills and the desire to share your knowledge and skills by being an outstanding, positive example to others.

We are flexible around hours therefore full-time or part-time hours will both be considered to suit your individual needs, we are here to find the right balance for you! (Full-time working pattern is 4 days per week plus 1 in 3 Saturdays or Sundays). 

Salary & Benefits:

Up to £66,469 salary package per annum (FTE) depending on experience to include:

  • - 5 weeks' annual leave
  • - 4 weeks' paid sabbatical (after every 5 years of service)

We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.

Branch:

Our kind and caring team based in Leamington Spa Upper Grove is dedicated to delivering exceptional client and patient care. The large practice offers a full range of veterinary services and facilities, including nurse clinics, dental procedures, x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, multi-parameter monitoring machine, large prep room, and theatre, 3 consulting rooms, separate cat and dog wards, large exercise area and its own hydrotherapy unit with a hydrotherapy swimming pool and a new water walker treadmill. The practice are proud to work closely with Dogs Trust charity. 

The practice is led by our knowledgeable Lead Veterinary Surgeon who holds a certificate in small animal medicine and works alongside an additional Vet, Head Registered Veterinary Nurse, Registered Veterinary Nurse, and Client Care Assistant.

The practice also has access to Medivet’s 24-Hour Leamington Spa Hospital which is located only minutes away from Upper Grove Street.

Leamington Spa Upper Grove Street is situated in the centre of Royal Leamington Spa renowned for its beautiful Regency architecture, historic Pump Rooms, and famous gardens. Warwick is located three miles away and is famous for its castle which is considered by many to be the finest Medieval fortress in England.
