The amazing team in Hampstead Garden Suburb are looking for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join them. There is great atmosphere and a strong culture of empathy, growth and collaboration.

We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.

As a Lead Veterinary Surgeon in Medivet, you will be entitled to our attractive commission scheme where you will be rewarded for practice growth under your leadership. You will also have the opportunity to become a branch partner in the future.

Skills and experience:

Although not mandatory, the ideal candidate would have some experience on being a lead vet or clinical director in the past and be capable of leading a large team of two other vets and nine members of support staff. You will be confident in your consulting skills and have excellent client management and communication skills.

The ideal candidate would also have a minimum of 5 years’ UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience and be confident in their recommendations.

Branch:

This role will be based in Hampstead Garden Suburb. We have fantastic clients and we are active in the local community. We take pride in our collaborative approach.

You will be working within a well-equipped practice including digital xray, ultrasound, blood pressure machine, ECG, full lab including microscope, haematology and biochemistry analyser, full ex-lap kit including suction and diathermy. All out-of-hour care is managed by a local Medivet hospital, where you will also have access to CT and MRI.
