The role:

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity as a Registered Veterinary Nurse? 

This role is currently a Maternity cover contract 

We are looking for a motivated and friendly individual with a strong passion for animal care and welfare to join us as a Registered Veterinary Nurse at our hospital in Dartford.

The clinic has a good surgical and medical caseload, which will enable you to develop your nursing skills fully. You will be supported by a large team of nursing staff including RVNs, SVNs, and Patient Care Assistants.

Previous experience working in a small animal practice is required. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas.

The ideal candidate should enjoy working as part of a busy team and possess the confidence to work alone when required. You should have a flexible and adaptable approach to work and should be happy to get stuck in wherever needed.

This role covers 40 hours a week and is part of a 1:5 weekend rota.

Salary & Benefits

Branch:

Medivet 24 Hour Dartford is based in the town centre, which offers many places to eat and shop, and is a 15-minute drive from Bluewater Shopping Centre. The practice is also a short walk from Central Park, which has beautiful gardens and is home to part of the River Darent, which also continues past the scenic Brooklands Lake.

The successful candidate will be joining a large team of 5 vets, 7 nurses, and 4 CCAs. The practice is equipped with the latest technology including digital X-rays and ultrasound. As well as the in-house services, you will also get access to all the services across the Medivet group.
