The role:

Joining our professional, personable team at our Hinckley Station Road practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listening and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.

As well to your day-to-day duties within practice caring for your patients and clients, you will play a key role in leading and managing the team. You will have the drive and ambition to develop the practice client base, ensuring high standards of care are always delivered.

As a qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working in sole charge or as part of the wider team. Sharing our values of being trustworthy, caring, and progressive, you will have all the softer skills essential to working effectively and empathetically, such as good communication skills, mediation experience, and the ability to share knowledge and lead by being an outstanding, positive example to others.

Branch Partnership opportunities within this practice are also available where you can own part of the clinic, and have complete clinical freedom whilst receiving full support from the wider Medivet network.

We are flexible around hours therefore full-time or part-time hours will both be considered to suit your individual needs, we are here to find the right balance for you!

Salary & Benefits:

  • - Up to £66,469 per annum full-time salary package depending on experience, to include:
  • - 5 weeks' annual leave (FTE)
  • - 4 weeks' paid sabbatical (after every 5 years of service)

We also offer relocation allowances should you move more than 40 miles from your current home address. 

We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.

The role is working 4 days per week plus 1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 full weekends, however, flexible working requirements can be discussed.

Hinckley is a lovely market town in southwest Leicestershire, the town is situated midpoint between the bustling cities of Leicester and Coventry with fantastic commuter routes onto the major motorway networks. Our Medivet Hinckley Station Road practice is conveniently located close to Hinckley Town Centre where you can find an excellent variety of shops, independent cafes, and restaurants.
