Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at Feltham Vets4Pets!

About us:

Based in Feltham, we are privileged to benefit from a good variety of cases and a wonderful loyal client base.

Our well-equipped surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards.  Our practice is bright, spacious and air-conditioned and has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound, separate Dog, Cat and Exotic wards, and in-house laboratory facilities.

Our exceptional nursing team bring with them a wealth of experience,
are very involved in cases and are trained to perform Schedule 3 tasks (training can be given if needed).  You will be working alongside our
JVP (practice owner) who qualified in 2006, has grown the practice significantly since joining in 2020, and recognises the importance of providing the best veterinary care.  You will also work with our other experienced veterinary surgeons. We also have an experienced, friendly and professional reception team.

We work closely with neighbouring Vets4Pets clinics and can offer cardiac ultrasounds and more complex surgeries on site, from a certificate holder.

Feltham is 30 minutes from Central London by train and under 15 minutes from the M25/M3/M4 and only 2 miles to Heathrow airport
and we have plenty of parking and are close to a great selection of local amenities and transport links. We are also close to the green spaces of Surrey and Middlesex.

About you:

You will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare.

You will have a keen interest in running nurse clinics and building long lasting relationships with clients.

Previous practice management and clinical coach experience is desirable, but not essential – training in this area can be given.

We are interested in your ideas and ensure plenty of client contact
during nurse clinics. As a progressive practice, we strive to provide opportunities to pursue further nursing interests and training.

You will be able to gain experience in practice management by assisting our Head Nurse and Vet Partner with these duties, and as such have a valued input into how the practice develops and operates to ensure the highest standards of clinical care.

A desire to promote the practice’s social media would be ideal.

About the role:

By joining us in this rewarding position, you will be part of a passionate team, in one of the fastest growing Vets4Pets practices, who are dedicated to provide world class clinical care at the very heart of the community.

The salary is dependent on experience, £30k+ pa.

Benefits:

As you would expect from the market leader in small animal veterinary care we offer a supportive and friendly working environment together with career development opportunities, an excellent package and great benefits that include; competitive salary, CPD allowance, pension scheme and exclusive company discounts and rewards!

We are an Equal Opportunities Employer.
