Due to continued business growth, we are currently looking for an Administration Officer to join our busy, hard-working, friendly administration team, supporting our service provision to veterinary practices nationwide and abroad.
This position will involve working 38 hours per week. The working hours will be 6am – 3pm Tuesday to Friday, and every Saturday 6am – midday.
You would be part of a team responsible for ensuring that blood, other sample submissions are booked into our system accurately and quickly, and results are transmitted to veterinary practices promptly, enabling high animal welfare.
Precise, fast data entry skills are essential, along with the ability to notice small but important detail. Must remain focused and calm under pressure. Customer care is integral to our business and so the candidate will have an excellent telephone manner and a “can do” attitude.
No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.
Starting salary is £9.78 an hour with opportunity for increase to £10.55 after successful probation period with extra responsibilities after initial training.
