Clinical Director

The Role

Here at Orchard Vets we are looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Director to join our team.

The role will involve:  to lead and manage the team building on the success already achieved, being responsible for all aspects of small animal clinical work, leading by example to ensure high standards of patient and client care, as well as sustaining the profitability of the practice. 

The rota includes working 4-5 days per week 6-10.5 hours per day with 1 day off every other week. The rota will also include working 1 in 6 Saturday mornings only and there are no out-of-hours.

The salary for this role will be up to £70,000 depending on experience.

About Us

Orchard Vets is a friendly, well-established small animal practice located close to the South Coast and New Forest. We have K-Laser and Dental Radiography as well as the usual Ultrasound, Endoscope, and Digital Radiography. We have a dedicated client base with high compliance for preventative healthcare.

You would be managing a team of 6 other Veterinary Surgeons including a new graduate Vet, 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses, and 6 Support Team members including a Practice Manager.

Applicant Requirements 

We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon/Clinical Director. Some leadership experience is desired but not essential. The ideal applicant would have an interest in the management side of the business, and a desire to mentor and lead the team helping them to achieve the highest standards of patient and client care as well as enabling job satisfaction for all.
