Veterinary Surgeon- Full Time - Tamworth Companion Care

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Vet to join our well established team at Companion Care Tamworth!

You'll be working from our recently refurbished practice, which is built
to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment which includes ultrasound, dental and digital x-ray. We enjoy a varied caseload and have a great reputation locally and further afield, with our client base continuing to grow.

We are ideally located in the busy Ventura Shopping Centre in Tamworth, just 15 miles north from Birmingham making a for a good commute to local areas such as Cannock, Lichfield and Burton Upon Trent, with the M6 also not too far.

We are looking for a Vet to join us full time, 40 hours per week, with a 1 in 3 weekend rota, and no OOHs.

You will need to be a proactive veterinary surgeon with exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will have good surgical and medical skills, as well as being able to provide consultation services for our clients and their pets. You should have a genuine enthusiasm for you role and care for animal welfare. You will be comfortable with sole charge and enjoy the fast pace of our practice.

You will be working with Partners Eubie and Sharon Saayman, plus 4 Vets, 6 Nurses and 3 receptionists and 2 practice managers. Eubie studied at Onderstepoort Pretoria in South Africa, and has been qualified for 20 years.
