The role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our wonderful teams in Canonbury and Islington.

Full-time salary package up to £67,369 per annum depending on experience to include:
- - 5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays
- - 4 weeks' paid sabbatical (after every 5 years of service)

We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.
Skills and experience:
This role requires a confident and friendly vet with exceptional communication skills to continue building strong relationships with our clients!
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of small animal experience (UK or equivalent) confident working under sole charge and in basic routine surgeries.
Branch:
This role will support our Islington and Canonbury branches which are a short walk away from each other.
Islington Cross Street is a busy and well-established practice and has been part of the Islington community for over 40 years.
It is a 2-vet practice led by Branch Partner and Veterinary Surgeon David Rubiera-Conesa. David has a special interest in cardiology with a passion for feline and canine medicine.
Our advanced technology also helps us understand and diagnose heart conditions and David takes internal transfers from across the region.
Just down the road, we have our Medivet Canonbury practice, they are a 4-vet branch with a large nursing and support team. And, a further 20 minutes away we have our Kentish Town branch, which has a friendly 2-vet and 3-nurse team.
Our branches are equipped with x-rays, full blood machines, ultrasound, in-house labs, and dentistry facilities. All clinics feed into our Kensington 24-Hour Hospital where all out-of-hour care is managed by our fantastic night team.
Here, our hospital vets are also always on hand to help you work up tricky cases and provide advanced surgical procedures for your patients if required.
