Independent Practice in Buckinghamshire seeks Experienced SA Vet

This forward thinking, independent client in Milton Keynes have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced small animal veterinary surgeon to join their family owned, veterinary group on a permanent basis. 

The team are looking for a dynamic, experienced vet to join the team as Clinical Lead. You will be working with 2 other surgeons and also alongside the teams orthopaedic service and imaging consultant. There is always plenty of support from the teams 15 surgeons and 50 staff across the whole group. 

There will be no management requirements as the Practice Manager and Owner cover these responsibilities but you will need to get involved and help to grow the site and maintain its high standards. 

This is a full-time position working a 4 day week and 1:3 Saturdays, and part time hours will also be considered.  There are no Sundays to work, no Bank Holidays to work and no on-call. 

You will be supported by registered veterinary nurses and a reception team. You will also have 15 vets within the bigger company who you can contact for advice and help as well as the other Milton Keynes surgeon. This is very much an integrated team that work together across all practices. There will be the requirement for more vets in future as the practice continues to expand from a sole-charge to multi-vet site. 

The salary package on offer is dependent upon experience and hours (between £50k-£80k) with up to 6 weeks leave, CPD encouraged with a generous budget, RCVS and VDS fees paid, staff animals treated at cost and 25-35% shop discount.
