This independent, family run, small animal practice in beautiful South Yorkshire are looking for a small animal vet with some basic experience to join their team. Ideally you will have 6 months plus experience, and be keen to join a team where you will be actively encouraged to develop

This is a superb opportunity to join a highly supportive and friendly team of 14 vets, and plenty of nurses in a role where you can enjoy clinical freedom and great support in which to learn and grow. with mentorship provided by their huge team of experienced colleagues

With 8 sites across South Yorkshire, based around their extremely well equipped Tier 2 main centre which was completely renovated a couple of years ago, providing great consulting and operating facilities. including an extensive Physio set up including Hydro pool. They try to keep all cases in house, the hospital are equipped with endoscopes, pulse oximetry, orthopedic kit, 4 theatres with 2 further operating areas.

They can offer a varied caseload, and can be flexible with hours however there may be time based in branch and at the hospital site They have alternating shifts of 8-5.30pm or 10-7.30pm . They do one night on inpatient call each week, but the nurse stays on site and only calls when an emergency. The phones go to Vetsnow after 8pm weekdays and 5pm weekends

There is a weekend rota of 1 Saturday and one Sunday every 8 weeks, so essentially 1:4 commitment. There is an OOH’s bonus, and a branch work % of turnover bonus.

Salary dependent upon experience from £35k. CPD up to Certificate level
