Veterinary Surgeon

Due to retirement, we have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent full time vet to join us at our independent, purpose-built small animal practice. We are a busy and well-regarded veterinary practice that has been part of the Colchester community for 75 years. Colchester is a historic market town with lovely surrounding countryside, 25 minutes to the coast and just 45 minutes by train into London.

We believe we provide an extremely friendly environment for our patients and clients, putting them at the heart of everything that we do.

We have a large and experienced team who work extremely well together. Colne Valley Vets is a very enjoyable place to work and each and every team member is valued for their skills and ideas.

The role is a 4-day week with an additional Friday off every six weeks with only a 1:6 Saturday morning rota and no OOH’s. We are very conscious to try and provide all the team with an excellent work-life balance.
