The role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head Nurse to join the team at Medivet Wool. We are seeking a motivated RVN with an enthusiastic nature looking to develop their management skills and progress within their career.

What will you bring to the team?

We are looking for an experienced RVN who shares our passion for delivering outstanding service and care for our clients and patients. The successful candidate will either have previous Head Nurse experience and be confident in leading a team or an experienced RVN who is now ready to take the next step into a Head Nurse position. The ideal candidate will have clinical coaching experience or are keen to support and develop our student nurses and not be afraid to get stuck in with the duties and lead by example. You will be fully supported within your move and we will offer full management training with our dedicated in-house internal training team.

Branch:

Medivet Wool is a spacious clinic with a lovely friendly atmosphere.  It has a wonderful team of experienced and highly skilled colleagues who have an array of interests and certificates.  We have 4 Vets, 1 RVN, 3 SVNs, and mobile Patient Care Assistants all supported by our 4 client care assistants who are the first point of contact for clients and their pets.

Wool has 2 theatres, orthopaedic equipment, ultrasound, radiography, an in-house laboratory, and a separate dental room.  We have separate dog, cat, and isolation wards and 3 consulting rooms.  Nurse consults are supported and encouraged.

Wool is a pretty village in the heart of Dorset, the clinic is situated just on the outskirts.  It is within easy reach of the sandy beaches of Weymouth and Bournemouth on the train.  Dorset boasts the most amazing countryside and coastline around for people who love to walk and explore.
