About us:

We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our lovely, newly refurbished Medivet Clapham practice in South London. 

Medivet Clapham have a fantastic, established team made up of Guy and Laura, certificate holders in Cardiology, Endoscopy, and Endosurgery with over ten years of experience between them. They are supported by our wonderful nursing team made up of our HRVN, RVN, Student Nurse, and Reception team. 

It is a busy, fast-paced clinic, performing a high volume of procedures including endoscopy, cardiac, scans, and lap spays, equipped with endoscopes, ultrasound, laparoscopic stack system for keyhole surgery, full in-house lab, ethylene oxide sterilisation, and digital x-ray.

The role:

The practice day is split into 3 different shifts. These are shared out equally between the 3 vets so that there is an equal amount of ops and consult time over any given period. 

We work to a 5-day week with late starts / early finishes. 

Shift pattern: 08:00-14:00, 08:00-17:00 and 10:00-19:00 - 1:3 Saturday 09:00-17:00.

This role would suit someone confident in their abilities, ideally with a minimum of 3-year's experience however can be flexible as long as you have the right approach and client communication skills.

Medivet Clapham is situated in Abbeville Village in the heart of Clapham, South London.

Abbeville Village is a charming area with lots of boutique shops, cafes, pubs, and restaurants. It's situated approx. 10 mins walk from both Clapham Common and Clapham South Stations, with several nearby bus routes.

The branch feeds into our Camberwell 24-Hour Hospital for all out-of-hours and emergency care, managed by our dedicated night team.
