The role:

We are seeking a Head Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Medivet Carpenders Park in Watford. 

This role would be ideal for someone who has a keen interest in wildlife! 

This busy team led by our Branch Partner Ana provides care not only for dogs, cats, and other small pets but also for a variety of local wildlife. The practice currently works with a charity to help and treat foxes. 

Salary, hours, and benefits:

• - Starting salary £32,500 per annum 
• - 4-day week with 1:6 weekends
• - Hours 08:30-18:00 and 10:00-19:00 / 38.66 hours per week
• - £750 CPD allowance with 2-days CPD leave and in-house CPD available
• - RCVS and VDS fees paid
• - 5 weeks paid annual leave (equivalent to 22.7 days) plus bank holidays
• - Fair share of bank holiday cover at Kensington 24-Hour with time back in lieu
• - Minimal on-call duties to support our dedicated night team, if required
