We are looking for a confident RVN to provide out of hours support at Richmond 24-hour hospital. You will be responsible for the nursing care and treatment of hospitalised patients as well as assisting with emergency procedures as required. You will also be responsible for providing nursing assistance for the Out of Hours Service. 

Principal accountabilities include but are not limited to:

• Assisting the Veterinary Surgeon and other support staff with inpatient care
• Independently carry out nursing duties to a high standard 
• Ensure effective and smooth handover of inpatients
• Ensure adequate nursing plans and inpatient records are set up and assessed as required in relation to the patient's requirements
• Communicating effectively and pleasantly with clients and colleagues 
• Carry out all other reasonable duties as requested by the line manager
• Richmond 24 Hospital has all the mod cons you would expect a hospital to have, alongside a CT scanner, two consulting rooms, theatre, separate x-ray and ultrasound rooms and a separate dog and cat ward.

Salary, hours and benefits:
