The role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our Stoke Newington and Stroud Green practices in North London. 

Both practices are very well established with friendly and experienced teams. Our Lead Vets, Ruth and Hester work harmoniously with their respective Head Nurses, providing an ideal working environment for a good all-rounder vet seeking a supportive general practitioner role. 

We are able to consider candidates at all levels of experience and both branches enjoy providing mentorship.

The ideal candidate will be confident with basic routine surgeries. We also encourage you to pursue your interests and can provide support should you wish to work towards further qualifications. 

Competitive remuneration package up to £55,000 per annum to include:

This role works to our 4-day week with 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends. 

We also offer relocation allowances should you move more than 50 miles from your current home address.

We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.

Stoke Newington and Stroud Green have been part of our Medivet family since 2018! 

Stoke Newington is a thriving clinic with a fantastic two vet team led by Hester and a support team of five including our RVN, SVN,  Patient Care Assistants, and Patient Care Assistant. 

The clinic is equipped with ultrasound, dentistry facilities, ECG, endoscopy, free nurse clinics, and an in-house lab. 

Our practice neighbours the Islington area, located between Newington Green and Clissold Park. It sits on a lively high street, just a short walk from Canonbury and Dalston Kingsland Overground stations. 

Stroud Green is made up of our Lead Vet, Ruth, Head Nurse Klaudia, and Daisie our Patient Care Assistant. The practice neighbours Finsbury Park and is a short walk from Crouch Hill Overground. 

This role would work sole charge at our lovely Stroud Green practice every Friday.
