Preventing contagious ovine digital dermatitis: Characterisation of bacterial pathogens and development of disease control measures for sheep.

Project Details

The aim of this project is to devise effective control methods for CODD in sheep and is ideally suited to a veterinary graduate. The student will gain experience in molecular micro-biology, microbiomes, bio-informatics, and designing and implementing farm clinical trials under the supervision of a multi-disciplinary veterinary team. The project is also supported by an industry partner who will also provide relevant training.
