We are currently seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our close-knit team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years experience (UK or equivalent) and be a confident all rounder. Our highly experienced branch partner is a keen teacher for anyone wishing to develop surgical skills, and the work here involves exposure to a wealth of emergency, soft tissue and orthopaedic cases.

You should possess excellent communication and a passion for patient and client care. 

This role provides a great work-life balance, as this is a part-time permanent role, and can be flexible to suit the candidate. The shift pattern includes 1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 full weekends.

Salary & Benefits:

Competitive package of up to £67,000 per annum FTE (depending on experience), which includes accommodation allowance and a vehicle or vehicle allowance

£1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave, and in-house CPD training VDS, RCVS, and BVA fees paid

5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

Skills and experience:

You must be a Veterinary Surgeon who is registered with the RCVS.

Ideally, you have at least 2 years of veterinary experience with small animals (UK or equivalent) and be a confident all rounder. 

Branch:

Medivet Hayes is a very busy, small animal first opinion practice that offers a wide range of diagnostic and treatment options, as well as access to laparoscopic spays, specialist surgery and advanced imaging at the region's 24hr hospital. 

We are fortunate to have a very loyal client base and our 3 vet teams are therefore kept busy with an exciting range of surgeries and consults. 

The practice is situated on the outskirts of London, close to Heathrow, with easy access to the A40;  you can be in the countryside, or in central London in under an hour.
