Veterinary Surgeon Role, Maidenhead

This practice are offering a truly unique and exceptional opportunity for a 2022 graduate vet(or recent graduate) to join their 7-vet team and to be mentored by a very experienced and accomplished surgeon(soft tissue and orthopaedics).

Somebody who specifically has surgical ambitions could be ideal but with surgery being a key part of the role for all vets, this position could also provide a great start to veterinary life for graduates with any other interests.

A fantastic rota is in place with regular 5pm finishes spread across a 4-day working week and only 1 in 4 Saturday mornings. There are no OOH's involved with the role but you do have the option to keep animals on site should you deem it appropriate.

Key Duties

• 4 day working week, 38 hours on average
• Mix of 5pm & 7pm finishes
• 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
• No OOH's
• 30 minute appointments for first 3-6 months(then 15 mins)
• 2 ops days per week

Package and Benefits

• Salary range of 30-32k
• 5 weeks holiday + bank holidays
• £2000 CPD allowance
• VDS & RCVS fees covered

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Must be RCVS registered
• Surgical interest may be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills
