Key accountabilities:

In this role, you will assist with the financial and operational performance of your practice as well as the overall team performance and engagement.

You'll take pride in the delivery of exceptional clinical quality and care, encouraging a progressive clinical culture. And, ensure Medivet policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to by all of your team.

You'll work closely with the Lead Vet as well as our wider teams to ensure the general smooth running of your practice, from Practice Standards to Health & Safety, and ensure things such as debt are managed and controlled and any complaints are dealt with appropriately.

As a Head Nurse and Clinical Coach, you will develop and support your direct reports, holding one to one and providing regular feedback on their performance.

From time to time you may need to assist your Area Manager with recruitment by meeting potential new team members during a practice visit, as well as taking action to create a positive environment that results in stable retention for your branch.

Branch:

Medivet Clapham is situated in Abbeville Village in the heart of Clapham, South London.

Clapham is a lovely practice which is fast-paced and provides a similar environment to that of a mini-hospital - great if you like keeping nice and busy!

The team is made up of three Vets - two of which have over ten years of experience with certificate holders in Cardiology and Endosurgery. The nursing team is made up of the HRVN (that's you!) RVN, Student Nurse, and two Client Care Assistants.

This branch performs a high volume of procedures including endoscopy, cardiac scans, and lap spays, equipped with endoscopes, ultrasound, laparoscopic stack system for keyhole surgery, full in-house lab, ethylene oxide sterilisation, and digital x-ray.

Not familiar with the area? The practice is situated about 10 mins walk from both Clapham Common and Clapham South. There are also several nearby bus routes.
