An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to lead our friendly team at Medivet Highgate in North London, ideal for someone with a medical certificate or bias! 

We work to a 4-day week with 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends, working alongside a friendly team made up of our Head Nurse, SVN, and Receptionist - you will also have support from our regional team making Highgate a 1.5 vet practice. 

This role offers you the opportunity to really make it your own and drive the branch forward! It is situated in a beautiful part of London with lots of scopes and the potential to become a successful and thriving practice! 

Full-time salary package up to £67,369 per annum depending on experience to include:

  • Attractive monthly commission scheme (based on clinic performance)
  • 5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays 
  • 4 weeks' paid sabbatical (after eevery5 year of service)

We also offer relocation allowances should you move more than 50 miles from your current home address.

We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.

 Skills and experience:

 The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' UK small animal practice, or UK equivalent, experience.

You must have a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically and surgically and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further.

You will be confident working sole charge with the ability to make sound clinical judgement, however, you will also have the support of eleven other practices in the region including certificate holders.

This practice feeds into our Kensington 24-Hour Hospital for all out-of-hour care where we have a dedicated night team. We also have an ambulance service within the region to transport any patients to be bare hospitalised.
