We are seeking two Vets to join our well established, thriving small animal practice in Fife, close to the beautiful beaches of historic St Andrews and an hour drive to Edinburgh.

We pride ourselves in being independent, providing personal and
trusted full service care, free from corporate financial targets. This
means exposure to a wide variety of medical and surgical cases including emergency work and the freedom and satisfaction of seeing your cases through from start to finish. If you are a recent graduate, we understand you will need advice and hands on help. You will always have a designated experienced vet as your back up 24/7.

We split our workload evenly so everyone will have the opportunity for consults, procedures, surgical ops and on call duties keeping variety in the job and ensuring development of a wide skill set.

However, we understand that you are an individual, who may have a preference for a particular aspect of your job or plan to study for a certificate and we will always try to accommodate this. We currently have four vets studying for certificates.

We can offer a good work/life balance with flexible days off. You will work 8.30am-5pm two days a week, 8.30am-7:30pm two days a week and one overnight on-call shift. You will work one in five Saturday mornings plus one in five weekends on call. Our on call is quiet, averaging one case per night over the year. You will have a full day off each week and in addition a 1pm finish on a Monday following a weekend on call.

Salary £32-55K (we have a lovely three bedroom house available too which can be incorporated in your package or a two bedroom flat for on call nights if you are living elsewhere), VDS, RCVS fees, work place pension and generous cpd allowance to accommodate certificates.
