Salary, hours, and benefits:

  • - Salary £30,000 per annum 
  • - 4-day week with 1:6 weekends
  • - Hours 08:30-18:00 and 10:00-19:00 / 38.66 hours per week
  • - £750 CPD allowance with 2-days CPD leave and in-house CPD available
  • - RCVS and VDS fees paid
  • - 5 weeks paid annual leave (equivalent to 22.7 days) plus bank holidays
  • - Fair share of bank holiday cover at Kensington 24-Hour with time back in lieu

Key accountabilities:

As a Mobile Veterinary Nurse, you will support our branches in Pinner, Croxley, Carpenders Park, and Denham.

You will work closely with your vets in practice, performing essential nursing duties and ensuring our patients have everything they need.

As well as administering treatments, performing diagnostic tests and assisting with surgeries, you’ll also run our popular nurse clinics, offering essential advice to clients on all aspects of pet care, from dental care to weight management

As an experienced RVN, you can even help shape the next generation as a Clinical Coach, using your knowledge and skills to help train and support nurses of the future!

This role will work in the below practices, providing crucial support to our teams while working in a varied and supportive environment. We invite you to get to know us and look forward to welcoming you to the Medivet family!

Carpenders Park

Carpenders Park is led by our experienced Branch Partner, Ana. Ana sees a lot of wildlife in addition to small animal work with support from our Head Nurse, SVN, and Veterinary Care Assistant.

Pinner

Branch Partner, Reena has certificates in medicine and surgery; she is also completing an endodontics course and will start offering complex dental treatments soon! We also have Leonie (who is completing a Medicine certificate) and Natalie who is newly qualified. The nursing team is made up of our HVN, three Student Nurses, and a Client Care Assistant.

Denham

Medivet Denham has a wonderfully supportive team led by our two Branch Partners, Suzy, and Selvy. They are well-known internally for fantastic training and development of colleagues, as well as exceptional patient care. In addition to our Branch Partners, we have Emma our Head Nurse, and three Student Nurses, Charlotte, Heather, and Kara.

Croxley Green

This is a busy clinic very close to the hospital. They work up medical cases to a very high level with our Branch Partner, Fabiana completing her certificate in medicine.
