VetFinders are proud to be working in partnership alongside with wonderful 3 branch practice, searching for a Veterinary Surgeon, located on the beautiful West Coast of Scotland, in Troon.

 

The role:

 

As an experienced Veterinary surgeon you will have a minimum of 2 years post graduate experience in small animal practice, ideally, although all applications will be considered.

 

This is a permanent Full- or Part-time opportunity, with roughly 40 hours per week available for full-time – including no more than 1 in 3 Saturday mornings only. Part-time hours would be 2 or 3 days per week, and include weekends on rota. There is no other weekend or any out-of-hours work required as VetsNow covers all OOH requirements.

 

We are looking for someone to help drive the business forward across our small and friendly group of RCVS accredited clinics.

 

Candidates must have excellent time management and communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure. This role would be best suited for someone who has a keen interest in Surgery, and happy with a good mix of consults. This would be an advantage, but not essential.

 

 

The Practice:

 

Located in Troon, West Scotland, you are surrounded immediately be beauty, with a stunning coastline to walk along, and the urban nightlife entertainments of Glasgow not far away, this location definitely has something for everyone!

 

The practice was first established in 1959, and since then has seen successful take overs, more recently joining the Vet Partner’s family, very much with an independent feel.

 

The team are very supportive. You’ll be part of an amazing, experienced team who will help and support you in your new role. The team is made up of 3 Vets, 3RVN’s, Practice Manager, Receptionists and Clinical Director. Plenty of experience to pull from as needed.

 

The practice are very supportive of personal development, CPD is funded and encouraged.
