About Us

The Neighbourhood Vet have been established for 10 years, growing to 3 sites in total, (2 smaller sites located in Crofton Park and Penge and our main hospital at East Dulwich). We have a varied caseload with the 'normal' toys - radiography, theatre, dental at all 3, US at East Dulwich and Penge, dental radiography coming to East Dulwich next month. East Dulwich, Crofton Park and Penge are all in SE London and vary from very affluent to not so much which is what makes London so interesting.

About the Team and Culture

We have grown our practice by focussing on looking after each other, then pets, then clients. We are a close team who pride ourselves on providing excellent standards of care. We provide the safest care for our patients, which hopefully means the least stress for everyone.

We are a fun and friendly team of 20 Vets, 12 RVNs, 10 Veterinary care assistants/ students and 17 reception/ administration staff. We have cert holders in surgery (1), cardiology (2), internal medicine (2) and others studying medicine (2), surgery (1) and emergency (1). Additionally, we have specialists visiting and working two days a week at our East Dulwich hospital and two days a week at another one of our branches, they specialise in surgery and endoscopy.

We run the Peckham Rye Dog Show every September which has around 350 entries with all proceeds going to charity, (usually one local and one international). What makes us stand out from the crowd is our team - brilliant, fun, and supportive.
