The role: We are looking for a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Medivet Petts Wood. The role offers a salary of £32500 per year as well as a generous CPD budget of £750 & 2 CPD days fully paid. We are offering 5 weeks annual leave for this position. The role is based on 40 hours per week, currently over 5 days but hopefully reducing to a 4 day week in the coming months offering a great work and home life balance. Weekends are 1:6 full weekends at our Beckenham 24 hour hospital with time back in lieu and a fair share of bank holidays and on-call.

Key accountabilities: You will work closely with the Lead Vet as well as our wider teams to ensure the general smooth running of your practice, from Practice Standards to Health &Safety, and ensure things such as debt is managed and controlled, any complaints are dealt with appropriately. As a Head Nurse and Clinical Coach, you will develop and support your direct team members and SVN's holding one to ones and providing regular feedback on their performance. Taking action to create a positive environment that results in stable retention for your branch.

Skills and experience: This role would suit someone with previous experience in a leadership role or someone taking their first steps into this environment. The branch is well supported with 2 vets and a whole team of people happy to help.

Branch: Petts Wood is a lovely branch in Kent only 2 minute walk from Petts Wood station. There are lovely shops, cafes and restaurants on the doorstep as well as free parking a short walk away.
