The Role

Seafield Veterinary Group we are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. The role will be suited to a mixed Vet as you will be working in 45% Large Animal, 5% Equine, and 50% Small Animal caseloads. You will be involved in daily tasks such as consultation, operating, and carrying out farm calls and emergencies. Daily duties will be shared with other mixed vets, and the small animal work is carried out of any of our three practice but the large animal work from our Keith practice. You will be responsible for working up and completing your own caseloads and tasks whilst on occasion working alongside other vets on more complex cases when needed.

Rota 

  • Working 40 hours per week 
  • Across 5 days (8:00am-5:30pm)
  • 1:4 out of hours rota

Salary 

  • Up to £50,000 negotiable D.O.E
  • Welcome bonus of up to £1,500
  • Relocation allowance of up to £5,000

About Us

We are a 3-practice veterinary group, in Keith, Buckie, and Banff. We carry out our LA and OOH in Keith practice and have all the usual mod cons in the 3 sites including digital X-rays, scanners multi parameters, and blood machines. We are situated in the picturesque Moray famed for the beautiful coast, countryside, and wildlife. Keith itself is 1 hour from Aberdeen, Inverness, and Aviemore which has main links to the major cities via train and bus. 

We have 8 Veterinary Surgeons with 3 of those being small-animal only Vets. We have 7 Registered Veterinary Nurses and around 13 support staff.

Applicant Requirements

Must be RCVS registered, confident in sole charge and have similar experience within a mixed vet surgeon role, must have full UK driving licence as company vehicle will be provided, We fully support and encourage further certification and offer funding for this.
