Our Society is the world’s oldest and largest animal welfare charity, and we're proud of having delivered our valuable work for nearly 200 unbroken years. As part of our ongoing modernisation we have recently reformed our Animal Welfare Committee. Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees, the Committee meets four times a year and is responsible for reviewing all of our governing documents, policies and procedures and making recommendations for change.

We are seeking to appoint two new members to the committee. One member, will be a RCVS qualified vet with experience in animal welfare, including time as a practitioner.

The other member will have significant experience of communications, public relations, branding and marketing.

A genuine empathy with and compassion for animals and animal welfare, together with a high level of emotional intelligence and the ability to engage at all levels is a must.

These are new roles, and we have ambitious plans for our committee. You will be joining us as we continue to advance our vision and new mission through our new strategy, Together for Animal Welfare.

If you feel you have the drive, passion, skills and experience to play your part within an organisation that holds a very special place in the heart of all those concerned with animal welfare, both across England and Wales and beyond, please visit www.attenti.co.uk/RSPCAAWC to read the appointment brief for more information and how to apply.
