Job Details
Our client has a long established Tier 3 hospital with onsite MRI, CT, digital x-ray, dental x-ray and in house diagnostics. The out of hours services provides cover for 7 satellite branches vary in size and facilities but all have established teams and friendly clients. They are now looking for a Small Animal Night Veterinary Surgeon join them near Bath.
The group have 140 employees (40 vets/43 nurses) working across 8 sites. The Vets pride themselves on their friendly working environment and focus on staff wellbeing. Staff are actively encouraged to develop their skills and knowledge via in-house learning and CPD.
This is a busy first opinion and referral hospital. The night vet will work with an RVN and KA all night and are supported for part of the night with a receptionist and a twilight vet until midnight. The position is 5 nights on (6.30 pm - 8.30am), 10 nights off for full time and 5 nights on 25 nights off for part time.
The successful candidate will share the philosophy of practising to the highest clinical standards and providing excellent client care. The ideal candidate would have post graduate experience. Experience of emergency work in a busy hospital would be an advantage.
