The role:

By joining our professional, personable team, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listening and empathising, putting patients and clients first.

As well as your day-to-day duties within practice caring for your patients and clients, you will have the drive and ambition to develop the practice optimising the client and patient experience, promoting safety while training, developing, and leading the practice team.  

You’ll also be proactive in maintaining your professional and clinical skills, carry out accurate and timely reporting and explore ways that we can further develop our standards.       

As an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse, you’ll already have good knowledge of how a dynamic, practice runs efficiently and effectively. Sharing our values of being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you’ll also take the initiative in patient welfare and have caring, thoughtful communication skills. Just as important are the leadership skills essential to enabling your team to work as one and look ahead to see how they can be even better.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week with 1:3 Saturdays at Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Skills and experience:

  • - You must be a Veterinary Nurse that is registered with the RCVS
  • - Previous experience of working in a small animal practice is required

Branch:

Medivet Rocester is a lovely branch situated north of Uttoxeter and close to the county border with Derbyshire. The branch has a close family feel, lined with wooden beams but with all the amenities of modern practice. There is a comfortable living space upstairs with a lounge and full working kitchen too. The practice regularly teams up with our Newcastle Under Lyme sister branch which is where weekends are based.
