Independent Practice seeks Small Animal Vet close to Bristol

Our independent client in the beautiful County of North Somerset are looking for an additional veterinary surgeon to join their current team of 8 vets and 10 RVN's, 5 trainee nurses plus a fabulous support team of 11 including receptionists and a Practice Manager. 

This small animal clinic has excellent facilities and equipment, including K-Laser, Digital X-Ray, Dental X-Ray, Ultrasound, Endoscopy and full labs, and the team prides themselves on their high standards of nursing and client care.
Practice interests include Ophthalmology, Surgery, Medicine and Dermatology and to support these day to day services the team provide a well-equipped 24 hour service with their onsite nursing team.

Due to the volume of incoming cases, the team can offer a good variety of first opinion work and are open to all applications from recent graduates to experienced / senior first opinion vets. Any additional disciplines will also be considered.


The rota is worked over 4 days per week (practice opening times 8.30am-7/7.30pm) with 1 in 7 or 14 nights on call.  The practice have facilities for vets to stay over night if required when working on call.  
Saturday and Sunday mornings are worked on a 1:5 basis.

The location of this practice, less than 4 miles to the beautiful Somerset coast and on the edge of the Mendip Hills allows you to find plenty to do outside of work. Yet within easy reach of Bristol 22 miles and Bath 30 miles for great shopping trips and links to the rest of the UK, this location really does have it all.
