Vet Surgeon or Senior Vet | West Yorkshire | Up to £60,000 PA

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced vet surgeon to join a fantastic hospital based practice in West Yorkshire.

Our client welcome referrals from across Yorkshire and are proud to provide their own 24-hour on site emergency care through our dedicated ECC night team. Offering a full range of primary care services, such as consultations, preventative healthcare, vaccinations, routine and non-routine surgery, dentistry, and imaging (x-ray and ultrasound). They are also able to offer some advanced services at their main site, such as; laparoscopy, endoscopy, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries, cardiology, ophthalmology, and CT scans, and have their own rehabilitation service with physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, and laser therapy.

They have a fantastic supporting team across all sites. They have a large vet team and are supported by fantastic nursing and front of house teams. Six of the vets are working towards certificates in surgery, imaging, dermatology, cardiology and ophthalmology. 

Your role and responsibilities

This is a fantastic role for an experienced Senior Veterinary Surgeon or Veterinary Surgeon looking to take the next step in their career, or for an experienced Senior Vet Surgeon looking for a rewarding position that can offer great rapport with clients, case continuity and the chance to work more independently but still be part of a larger group and network.

As a Senior Vet Surgeon, your role will include, building strong relationships with clients and performing high-quality medicine and surgery, working closely with the Lead Vets and Senior Leadership Team to help drive the clinics forward, line management of the vet team (approx. 2-4 vets), ensuring delivering a quality service, and more.

Hours: Just 3.5 days per week; Shifts: 2x 8am-8pm, 1x 8am-6pm, 1x 8am-1pm; 1 in 4 weekends (8am-6pm).
