Veterinary Surgeon required at Vasastans Veterinärklinik Evidensia

The Role

The job includes both internal medicine, imaging, and surgery. The role can be adapted to the right candidate, our focus is on making sure their personality fits the team. The successful Veterinary Surgeon will be responsible for their own patients and follow ups.  

You always work in team with a nurse. The role is full time (part time is also possible) and today the clinic is opened Monday- Friday, daytime and closed every bank holiday and weekends. 

About Us

The clinic is located 10 minutes from the city, beside a beautiful park (Vanadislunden). The clinic opened in May- 21, so everything is brand new and it´s a fully equipped clinic with both digital X-ray, ultrasound, surgery- and dental room. We have four examination rooms, spacious and bright. A separate cat- and dog waiting room. The clinic is familiar and personal, and the team that works here is really driven, engaged and they give every patient and customer that "little extra". We get a lot of good reviews and feedback from customers. 

About the Team and Culture

We have four veterinarians (a fifth that comes in a couple of days/month) and eight veterinary nurses today, but we are expanding. You’ll become part of a tightknit team. We enjoy and appreciate each other’s company. Everyone takes pride and responsibility for the amazing work they do. We have a focus on development, both personal development and for the clinic in general. We have a good feedback culture and really good communication skills within the team and towards the customers. 

Applicant Requirements 

We are looking for a veterinarian that demonstrates experience in a clinical setting. If it´s within internal medicine, othopaedics, imaging and/or surgery, what is important is that you want to share your knowledge and you want to work in a team. There could be an opening to also work in another clinic/hospital within Evidensia.
