An exciting opportunity has arisen for night veterinary surgeons to join the team at our Quarrington practice in Lincolnshire, as we progress the practice to a 24-hour hub.

This purpose-built practice in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside is a perfect opportunity for a veterinary surgeon who would like to be a key player in helping this practice develop and grow whilst developing new, or expanding existing, skills.

This is a permanent full or part-time role working from 18:30-08:30, various shift patterns can be accommodated including 7 on 7 off (full-time) 7 on 14 off, and 7 on 21 off (part-time)

The salary package of up to £85,000 PA (pro-rata for part-time) including:

  • - Accommodation Allowance

As a qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal emergency practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working in sole charge with a support team to assist you. Sharing our values of being trustworthy, caring, and progressive, you will have all the softer skills essential to working effectively, and building trusting relationships with your colleagues and clients.

Further education and development of colleagues are actively encouraged and certificates can be supported for the successful candidate. At Medivet Quarrington you will be working with an experienced team that provides lots of support.

You must be a Veterinary Surgeon registered with the RCVS.

We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK. With current Covid19 regulations, we will offer relocation and quarantine support for entering the UK.

The Branch:

Medivet Quarrington is a lovely purpose-built practice, with large prep and theatre areas that consist of 2 dedicated sterile theatres, a non-sterile theatre, and a dedicated X-ray room. They have a separate dog, cat, and exotic ward.

The practice is well equipped and we hope to expand to CT or MRI in the future.

We have a lovely, supportive team who are very dedicated to moving the practice forward. The team consists of 3 Vets, HVN, SVN, RVN, PCAs, and CCA.
