A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our purpose-built practice which is situated in the residential area of Wisbech, close to the beautiful Norfolk border and the vibrant city of Cambridge.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year’s experience in small animal practice, have excellent communication skills and the ability to work to high standards both medically and surgically. In return, we will provide support to help you develop your career and get the most satisfaction from your job.
In this role you will be exposed to a variety of cases whilst having access to a digital x-ray system, internal lab and much more. This is a great opportunity to work alongside another experienced vet and a fantastic team of nurses, in an environment where experienced vets will support you by sharing skills and knowledge.

Salary & Benefits:
Package up to £62k dependent on experience, including accommodation and vehicle allowance.:
-£1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave per annum
-VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid
-5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays per annum
-4 day week plus 1 in 3 Saturdays. No on call or nights required in this role.

Monica joined Medivet Wisbech as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2017 and has since then become a Branch Partner at the practice in May 2020. She holds a special interest in dermatology and soft tissue surgery and takes pride in providing exceptional care to her clients and patients under her care. The team consists of a happy close-knit nursing team who are always willing to go the extra mile to provide exceptional care within the community.
This is a great opportunity to work in a busy practice alongside a very experienced and knowledgeable Branch Partner and supportive team. You will be involved in interesting caseloads with access to state-of-the-art technology such as digital x-ray, ECG, dental facilities and in-house laboratory.
