Job Details

This role is a true gem: there is serious long-term opportunity here for someone who wants to grow a practice into something special.

We have the enviable location, the spacious building, the one in a million HRVN, the caring client base.

Currently, the role is sole charge but we have no doubt that with the addition of a motivated, ambitious Lead Vet, this will be a highly rewarding venture for the right person.

This role would be highly client-focused; you will have the time to build relationships and to really focus on your workups.

You will also play a key role in leading and managing the team, embedding your own ethos as well as representing the Medivet values (these are simple: patients first, always.) Branch Partnership opportunities within this practice are also available where you can own part of the clinic, and have complete clinical freedom whilst receiving full support from the wider Medivet network.

Skills and experience:

- Self-sufficient in routine surgery and medical workups

- Management experience desirable but not essential: we can support your growth as a leader if you're new to a Lead Vet role

- Keen to develop not just your own clinical skills but those of your team

Rewards & Benefits:

Joining our national network of veterinary surgeons at Medivet offers exceptional opportunities for career development while enjoying a very competitive salary package.

(FTE)
5 weeks' annual leave
4 weeks' paid sabbatical (after each 5 years of service)
Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Pay
£1,500 CPD Allowance plus 3 days CPD leave (FTE)
RCVS, BVA, and VDS fees paid
Vehicle allowance or Company Vehicle
Accommodation allowance
Access to Wellbeing support and EAP programme
Access to a wide range of discounts for days out, high street, and holidays.
100% attendance bonus schemes
1 day 'Pet'ernity Leave

We also offer relocation allowances should you move more than 50 miles from your current home address.

We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.

Branch:

Teddington is perhaps the most beautiful corner of London, with its tree-lined, canal-side location and proximity to the enormous expanses of Bushy Park and Richmond Park. Kingston is also close by, with its extensive restaurants, shopping and leisure opportunities.

The practice is airy and spacious, and the workload manageable. It's important to us that this role is sustainable for you, as we know that long-term success can only come with a career that fits into your life, not the other way around.
