Veterinary Surgeon

Vet required to manage  and run one clinic within a practice group of 3 

Suitable candidate will like to build their own client base and be responsible for the day to day running of their practice (without any financial commitment).

The rest of the clinic team are in place and the clinic is currently managed  as a large branch of the clinic group. The level of autonomy can be decided by the successful candidate within their time frame; we envisage separate practice management with the back up of human resource management from the group.

Emergency /out of hours is covered by Vets Now. Hospitalised patients are cared for in clinic so vets are on a rota for in patient care with duty nurse one night a week and one weekend in four.

The working week is 4 full days and 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Salary will be linked to profitability and turnover with a guaranteed minimum of £50,000.00 pa for a vet with good medical and surgical capabilities.

Large purpose built clinic with 2 consulting rooms, separate cat and dog wards, dispensary, large prep room, dental area, diagnostic room, scrub and theatre, laundry room, staff room and offices as well as ample on site parking.
