We are looking for a twilight vet for our busy 24h Southend hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinary surgeon with an interest in ECC work but doesn't want to do purely night shifts!

This can be a FT or PT job and shift pattern is flexible, either a 10pm, 11pm or midnight finish, and it can be on a 7 days on 7 days off or 7 days on 14 days off basis or weekdays only. We are flexible and open to discussions on what would fit around your  lifestyle and personal commitments.

Due to ongoing growth, we now have this fantastic opportunity to join our existing night teams. We have 3 dedicated night teams working on a 7 night on 14 nights off basis. You will have full support from the night vet and RVNs, PCAs and Reception Team. 

This is best suited for an ECC/night vet looking for shorter shifts or for Veterinary Surgeon looking to build their ECC medicine and surgery. 

Our Southend 24h hospital is covering OOH for all Medivet clinics in Southend region and also other local practices, which means that your caseload will be extremely exciting and varied. 

We are offering a competitive package of up to 60k (pro-rata if PT) and DOE. 

£1500 and 3 days CPD

5 weeks holiday pro rata if PT

Skills and experience:

You must be registered with RCVS, have right to work in UK and have a minimum 2 years of experience.
