Role: Experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon

Location: Louth, Lincolnshire     

Hours: Permanent, Four-day week, no OOH and 1:4 Saturday mornings. 

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience up to £50- 60K per annum

They are looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon, with immediate effect. This is a fantastic opportunity for a 5 years + qualified Vet, that is looking to step up and join a dedicated team of veterinary professionals, with a mixture of consults and surgery.

This independent is a truly wonderful practice, located at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds where they meet the Lincolnshire Marshes. A small town, home to the last remaining cattle market in the UK. Steeped in history and with good commuter links, this is a beautiful part of the country to live.

The practice is a forward thinking, established practice with an excellent reputation within the community. The Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic, Veterinary Surgeon committed to providing high standards of patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience, as this would be a leadership position, with mentoring and sole charge.

This role is being offered on a permanent basis. Full time hours would be 4 days per week, no OOHs and 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, though part-time positions and flexible working are equally considered, all applications are welcomed.

Prospective candidates will be able to undertake all duties required surrounding consults and surgery alike. A lean towards surgery is sort after but not essential. Certificates would be encouraged if not already held, along with consistent CPD opportunities.

Within this role you will be given a good degree of clinical freedom to deal with cases but there is always the opportunity to discuss things with a colleague they love a good natter about cases and support is available from the team at all times. The team currently consists of 4 Vets, 6 RVNs, 2 SVNs and 1 x ACA, bolstering a true supportive team environment.
