Registered Veterinary Nurse - No OOH - 3 days per week

The Role

Mercer & Hughes are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to provide maternity cover at their busy Dunmow branch. We cover a varied caseload, with plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and to help the branch evolve. This is a great opportunity to join an experienced, fun-loving team of nurses, assistants, receptionists, and vets who are always helpful, friendly, and supportive. We take pride in providing high standards of patient care and are looking for a proactive individual to help maintain this.

We are happy to accept both full/part-time applications, initially to cover 6 months but with the potential to extend. You will work 3 days per week, between the hours of 8:30 am- 6:30 pm with 1:8 weekends at our Saffron Walden branch, there are no out of hours requirements for the role. The salary for this role is up to £27,00 FTE depending on experience.

About Us

Our Dunmow Branch offers a great purpose-built working space which consists of an in-house laboratory, modern theatre, and x-ray with ample parking. We are close to all amenities and a short walk from town and transport links with the beautiful countryside right on our doorstep. Our fantastic team is made up of 10 FTE Vets, and a large mixed team of both qualified and student nurses.

Applicant Requirements

Our ideal candidate is an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse, with experience working in a busy small animal practice. You will be willing to support colleagues in a variety of clinical settings including theatre and nursing clinics.
