We are delighted to be recruiting for a brand new role at our main hospital site. Here at Harbour Vets we are looking for an enthusiastic mentor to take responsibility for leading mentoring across our HUB for our New Graduate Vets. Your role will be to lead and guide our current mentors as well as helping to develop our New Graduate Vets. You will still get to be part of the rota to keep your clinical skills up to date, while having allocated and protected time off rota to make sure that our new graduate vets get the support they need.

What will your role look like?

• 1 day per week for check ins, mentoring and supporting New Graduates and Mentors
• 1-2 day per week to overseeing clinical development – Consulting skills, neutering, dentals. Time allocated determined by New Graduates development needs.
• Line management responsibilities for all year 1 and year 2 Grads

For this role you will need experience of coaching and mentoring and to be a qualified Small Animal Vet. As you will be responsible for mentoring across the HUB you will need to be flexible in working across our Harbour sites. Ideally we are looking for full time 40 hours per week however we are open to discussing flexibility in hours.
