Hours and package
- This is a full-time role
- Weekday working hours are 8.00am-5/6.00pm (dependent on emergency caseload)
- Minimal OOH weekend rota with time off in lieu
- Salary up to £65,000 dependant on experience
We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, experienced equine veterinary surgeon to join an enthusiastic team, whilst working within easy reach of London, in the beautiful Kent countryside.
Offering a varied caseload from professional to domestic. Our client encourage your own workups, whilst working collaboratively as a team. Sport medicine experience/interest would be beneficial.
As well as managing clinical activities and supporting the associates, you will be required to perform the duties of a practicing Veterinary Surgeon working to high clinical standards, leading by example and be an excellent communicator. Part of your role will be ensuring the smooth working relationships between internal teams, management, and other group practices. As Clinical Director you will be expected to understand the profit and loss account including the key factors that will affect the practices profitability including sales, staffing, stock and debt management.
The successful candidate will work closely with a skilled team of vets (including diplomat and cert holder), supportive and hands on nurses and dedicated receptionists to develop the practice, expand services and to excel in their field of interest.
