Ashfield Veterinary Surgery - New Graduate Programme - Small Animal Vet

We are looking for a New Graduate Vet to join our growing team here are Ashfield Veterinary Surgery in the picturesque Derwent Valley.

We are 6 miles from historic Durham City and 20 miles from Newcastle upon Tyne and are only minutes away from stunning countryside.

We have moved to a brand new site last year, so this is a very exciting time to join us! Our brand new practice has 3 consult rooms, 1 nurse/cat consult room, separate cat and dog waiting areas, in house pharmacy and state of the art prep room and theatre.

You will be joining a small and friendly team, who are passionate about animal care.

This is a full-time role working a 4-day week (8.30am to 6.30pm) and 1 in 4 Saturdays (9am-12pm) - there are no on-call duties, giving you a great work-life balance.

  • Paid onboarding phase which includes a Residential. All UK travel, accommodation and subsistence costs for the Residential will be covered by CVS
  • Salary of £34,000 which increases at the end of year 1 and at the end of year 2
