Valley Equine
Valley Equine Hospital is seeking a specialist surgeon to help our expanding hospital continue to grow, from July 2022. The successful candidate will be either an European or American diploma holder, or have completed an approved residency and be eligible to sit the examination of the respective colleges. The role would suit someone with an orthopaedic bias but the successful candidate must be confident in emergency surgery. 1:3 OOH, salary range £80,000-£100,000 depending on experience and a range of additional benefits. Experience teaching veterinary students would be desirable but not essential.
We are a 10 vet team with fantastic nursing staff, a custom-built operating theatre, onsite laboratory, and a varied caseload. We work closely with neighbouring practices and peripatetic specialists to provide a collaborative working environment, as well as supporting our vets to develop their own areas of interest.
For any informal enquiries please contact Jo Burnett jo.burnett@veh.uk.com
