FULL TIME VETERINARIAN POSITION IN 100% POULTRY PRACTICE BASED IN THE WEST (Atcham, Shrewsbury)
Graduate/Junior Associate
We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and confident Veterinarian to join a team of fourteen veterinarians working in full-time poultry practice.
Slate Hall services an extensive and varied client base across the UK that involves working with both large integrated and smaller independent producers of broilers, broiler breeders, commercial layers, turkeys and ducks.
The position involves daily contact with clients for which you need to have a pragmatic, practical approach and the ability to work well within a team of poultry veterinarians. A personal commitment to CPD is essential to the role and fully funded.
To be successful you will be able to demonstrate:
Remuneration would be competitive, determined by the level of poultry experience and include a company car and private health care. Salary progression would be rapid for candidates that perform at or above expectation in the role.

- Prior experience in the poultry sector
- Good understanding of poultry diseases and management is essential
- RCVS recognised degree in Veterinary Medicine is essential
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English language would be desirable
